Product Description
1, gray cast iron standard: GB9439-88
2, the characteristics of gray cast iron:
(1) wear resistance and good shock resistance. Because the graphite in the cast iron is advantageous to the lubrication and the oil storage, therefore the wear-resisting property is good. Similarly, due to the existence of graphite, the shock resistance of gray cast iron is better than that of steel.
(2) the process performance is good. Due to the high carbon content of gray cast iron, it is close to eutectic composition, low melting point, good fluidity and low shrinkage rate. Therefore, it is suitable for casting structure with complex or thin wall castings. In addition, because the graphite is easy to form a broken chip, the machinability of gray cast iron is better than that of steel.

A, when B = 196N/mm - Sigma HB=RH (100+0.438 B)............ (B1)
B, when b<196N/mm - HB=RH sigma (44+0.724 B)............ (B2)
The relative hardness (RH) of the formula is mainly determined by the raw material, the melting process, the treatment process and the cooling rate of the casting.
